LA PRORA
The owners discovered and fell in love with the property in 2013. At that point La Prora had been neglected for years but still had a lot of its original charm intact. We fell in love with the site, the fantastic views and the nice garden - and all this within a comfortable walking distance to the city centre of Taormina.

A comprehensive renovation project has been carried out over the last three years. La Prora is now turned into a beautiful home in Sicilian style, however with all modern comforts.

The property is located at the end of via Luigi Pirandello, the historical road from the coast to Taormina town centre. It takes 15 minutes to reach Taormina on foot, a lovely walk which gives opportunity to admire old historic villas, Etna, Isola Bella and the sea.

Catania Fontanarossa airport is 45 minutes by car from La Prora. Alternatively the airport bus service stops just a few steps from the villa. Alternative airports are Comiso (1h15mins) and Palermo (3hrs). The legendary Taormina train station is 5 minutes away by taxi.
